3. How to kill mealybugs with natural methods, easy to do at home
- Step 1: Prepare a solution to kill mealybugs
Ingredient:
– 1 liter of clean water
– 10 ml of dishwashing liquid (soap)
– 0.5 liters of 70% Isopropyl alcohol
– Pour the mixture into a spray bottle, shake them to dissolve. If you have essential oils at home, add a few drops to the solution to speed up the process of killing mealybugs and help prevent mealybugs from returning to attack the plants. - Step 2: Choose the time to kill mealybugs
– The most effective time frame to kill mealybugs is in the sun from 9 to 10 hours. At this time, it is sunny, the temperature is high, and the drying time will make the drug most effective.
- Step 3: Apply insecticide to kill mealybugs
– Spray directly on the stem, two sides of the leaves of plants infected with mealybugs. In addition, spray around the cultivation place with a radius of about 1 meter to destroy all aphids that are about to grow and attack the plants again.
After a few hours when the plants have dried, use clean water to rinse them to clean the mealybugs and drugs on the plants.
